Transformation of a 1927-vintage home
The kitchen had not been updated since the 1990’s and the customer was looking for a modern design with all new appliances and more storage. The 104”ceilings allowed us to offer extra high upper and tall cabinets. To complement the slab doors the designer suggested a bold granite countertop. The new layout offers a much more functional space and the attached dining area was updated to match.
Upstairs the bathtub was converted to a 7’ walk-in shower with custom glass to accommodate the sloped ceiling. The built-in bench is tucked in under the lowest point taking advantage of the full space. It also features a Grohe digital shower fixture with body jets.
The second bathroom boasts a Bain Ultra ThermoMasseur bathtub and a space conscious rectangular Kohler pedestal sink and toilet. All 3 rooms include the added luxury of in-floor heating.
