The goal of this kitchen was to allow the patterned cement floor tiles to stand out as the focal point of the space.
The overall clean and sleek look was achieved by the light maple butcher block island and darker quartz countertop around the perimeter, paired with classic white subway tiles for the backsplash.
We took advantage of the height of the space with taller upper cabinets for better, more functional storage, and to accommodate under-cabinet lighting.
There is a new microwave oven in one end of the island and a wine cooler at the other end, making it handy for everyday use and great for entertaining.
From the classic painted white shaker cabinets to the stunning cement floor tiles and matte black accents throughout, this kitchen is both practical and beautiful.
