Updated kitchen for the whole family

The new kitchen was a dramatic update.
We installed solid maple cabinetry in a deep medium brown stain.
The Quartz countertops make a subtle statement on their own, carrying warmth yet a vibrancy as they sparkle from the reflection of the new pendant lighting.
The hexagon backsplash tile blends the contemporary style of geometric pattern with the traditional elegance of marble; it was a perfect choice to complement their countertops.
By utilizing the non-standard angled walls as the canvas, we created an area for the children to do homework and for entertaining. 
We designed the bench in the same material as the kitchen cabinets, and capped it in solid oak butcher block.
Since there was no room to have stools at the island, this area acts as a great breakfast nook. The large format porcelain floor tile runs into their front entrance, and was also installed in the adjacent powder room.
The main floor is now a great cohesive space.
