Ensuite Bathroom with Class and Elegance

The bathroom originally had an oversized large corner whirlpool tub that had to go. We replaced it with a freestanding soaker tub that fits perfectly in its alcove by the window. Aging in place was also a big concern for the home owners as they grow towards retirement. Keeping that in mind, we designed a custom shower with a built in bench capped in the beautiful Cambria quartz material. I didn’t feel the need to separate both the tub and shower area with a wall or half wall, so I simply left the area open for light to shine through the window. We maximized the use of the corner double vanity by adding drawers where I could in all of the base cabinets. The Quartz countertops make a subtle statement on their own carrying warmth yet a vibrancy as they sparkle with the reflection of the new LED lighting. We also installed a wainscot tile around the room with a ribbon of a monochromatic accent tile. The bathroom is now a great cohesive and inviting space.
