Stittsville Bungalow Transformation

The homeowners came to Westend with a vision; to turn their closed-off kitchen into an open concept, inviting space to entertain.
The main floor of their 1970’s bungalow was due for an upgrade.
We removed several interior walls to re-configure the layout and flow of the kitchen and adjacent living spaces.
Every inch of space was utilized to its fullest, including a bar area installed inside an alcove and built in bookshelves around the fireplace.
New engineered hardwood was installed throughout, along with maple stained cabinets, Cambria Quartz countertops and herringbone backsplash tile that added a beautiful pop of colour.

The homeowners returned to Westend the following year to have another major renovation tackled; second floor bathroom, bedroom and walk-in closet.
This was also a major undertaking, removing walls and building a much larger four piece bathroom.
The result is a spa-like oasis which includes a door-less entry shower with bench and freestanding therapeutic Bain Ultra bathtub.
We used the same custom cabinets as the bathroom to design and build their walk-in closet and bedroom dresser.
The spaces complement each other beautifully.
