Large island perfect for open concept

This kitchen had a small rolling island that wasn’t serving its intended purpose, now it’s an open to family room gathering place, with seating.
Moving the cooktop to the island also allowed for more prep space between the sink and fridge. Organization was paramount with a lazy susan in the base corner, roll out trays in the pantry and base cabinets, a triple recycle bin in the sink cabinet and a tray divider.
Storage was also maximized by removing the existing bulkhead to allow for taller cabinets.
